Hello, and welcome to my page! I appreciate you coming this far and im happy to share more about the cause and my story. I began running in my final years of college as a way to spend time with friends, enjoy the outdoors, and challenge myself physically. I fell in love with training cycles, reaching distance goals, and the encouragement that the running community provides. After completing my second half-marathon, I was certain that I wanted to set my sights a bit further, but was searching for a cause to further inspire the hard work I would need to put in. I applied to be a member of the AACR Runners for Research Team, so that this race would mean more than running a bunch of miles. This race  means doing my small part in finding a cure to the illness that is responsible for negativity influencing the lives of millions. 

The bottom line is, we need you to help create a world with more research and less cancer by joining the AACR Runners for Research at the 2024 Marine Corps Marathon. Your donation to my page is a part of the AACR Runners for Research team -whose sole purpose is to raise awareness and funds for research on over 200 types of cancers.
