Dear family and friends, 

This October, my boyfriend, Connor, and I will be running the Marine Corps Marathon as part of the AACR team in honor of my incredible mom, Colleen, who is courageously battling metastasized cancer to the bone. Over the past year and a half, she has faced immense pain but continues to navigate each day with strength, grace, and a positive spirit. Between managing her treatments, medical appointments, and the physical and mental toll of cancer, she remains a beacon of hope, joy, and love to everyone around her. Her unwavering faith, kindness, and inspiring words touch the lives of all who know her. 

The AACR's mission to advance cancer research and work toward a world where we can prevent and cure cancer is something I deeply believe in. I am both honored and excited to run in support of this cause - and in support of my mom, my best friend, my greatest cheerleader, and my role model.
