Hello beloved family.   It's Christine.  As you know, I have been researching cancer in one form or another for over 25 years and I've been attending AACR just as long! My first AACR (American Association for Cancer Research) meeting was in April 2000!   Since then, I've attended AACR so often in April that I recall finishing several presentations and immediately checking my phone to see that indeed, one of my nephews has been born!!  AACR has been a part of my career for a very long time.

I am thankful for everything my fulfilling career has given me thus far.  The hard work of hundreds of thousands of researchers has led to tremendous strides in detecting and treating cancer.  I am blessed that many of these advances in cancer treatment have directly improved the health of my loved ones, who have overcome childhood and adult cancers.  As blessed as we are, we have a long way to go before we eliminate cancer and the suffering it causes.

Please join me in supporting the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) for their signature 5K run/walk in Chicago, IL. This event is held alongside the AACR Annual Meeting 2025, a gathering of cancer scientists, survivors, advocates, and others to discuss the latest developments in the fight against cancer.

The AACR is on a mission to prevent and cure ALL cancers. It is the first and largest cancer research organization in the world with a membership of more than 58,000 professionals residing in 141 countries working on the front lines of the effort to eradicate cancer.

Join the fun and support an important cause at the 2025 AACR Runners for Research 5K Run/Walk!

Please donate today. Thank you for your support!
