AACR 115th Anniversary

Donate in celebration of the AACR's 115 years as the driving force to eradicate cancer 

In 1907, 11 visionary founders gathered in Washington, D.C. and instituted the American Association for Cancer Research "to further the investigation and spread the knowledge of cancer."

From those 11 founders 115 years ago to our more than 50,000 members today, the AACR has been at the forefront of every major discovery in cancer research, etiology, prevention, detection, treatment, and cures.

In 2022, the AACR commemorates the 115th anniversary of its founding and celebrates the unparalleled progress made against cancer throughout its history.

115th Anniversary Event Details: 

When: Wednesday, September 21, 2022, 6:00pm Cocktail Reception, 7:00pm Dinner & Program 

Where: National Portrait Gallery - 8th & F Streets NW, Washington, DC 20001

The AACR will bring together the global leaders in cancer research to celebrate the rich history of the AACR, the exhilarating progress that has been achieved in cancer science, and the bright future of effective treatments and cures, catalyzed by the world's leading cancer research organization. 

The program will be filled with inspiring stories of progress, promise, and hope for the scientific, political, and advocacy communities.
