Team up with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Runners for Research at Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida to celebrate the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend! Runners of all ages will enjoy courses through the Most Magical Place on Earth while raising funds for lifesaving cancer research.

There will not be a hotel or theme park ticket requirement for this event! A link with specially priced charity rates for rooms and tickets will be provided upon your registration with AACR Runners for Research entry.

We are pleased to share the booking link for the 2020 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. Our Charity Room blocks this year will be at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort. This is a group specially priced block, space is limited and expected to sell out quickly. For guest wishing to stay elsewhere please call Disney at 407-939-7810 and have them refer to AACR charity block to check for availability.

New for 2020! Both of these resorts will be on the Disney Skyliner system and will feature a Skyliner Station. The Skyliner system will give Guests a bird’s eye view of the Walt Disney World® Resort while traveling via gondolas, an incredible new way to travel around Walt Disney World®  Resorts. This brand-new gondola system which is expected to open Fall of 2019 will connect guests of Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney Pop Century Resort, with Disney’s Hollywood Studios® and Interaction Gateway at Epcot!

Disney Fairy Tale Challenge (Half Marathon & 10k)

  • Saturday & Sunday, February 22nd & 23rd, 2020 - 5:30 a.m.
  • Fundraising Minimum: $1,450

Please Note: To receive the Fairy Tale Challenge medal, you must complete all races needed within runDisney’s time requirements. Separate registrations for the events individually does not entitle you to receive the Challenge finisher medal.
